@SGROfficial: We have released Pit Crew Coach Zack Hawkins effective immediately. Fletcher Robinson will serve as interim coach for time being.

@RSweeney: It is unfortunate that Zack had to leave, he did alot for our team, but In the past several weeks, it was indicated that change was need when it came to pit crew training.

@AAROshaftlund: Heard a sad rumor around the garage today; that Marcel Davis is seriously disgruntled and has lost his passion for racing. Heard he may retire very soon. Hopefully just a rumor, but sad nonetheless.

@TexasTwister3: @AAROshaftlund Such a sad thing to hear. We all go through rough patches, but I like to think that there is still a passion even in racers after they retire! I think Marcel just has to find that passion again and things will be alot easier.

@AAROshaftlund: #Chautier Motorsports held a conference call this morning for their shareholders. Outlining 2019 plans was at the top of their agenda and they stated they are pleased with Jordan Tipsun’s progression this year as well as Beau Phillips.

@AAROshaftlund: Question marks include Jalen Scransen and his replacement if he does move on. Wayne Saunders seems to be the top candidate to take over any piece in the AERS lineup, but you can’t discount Ian Fallon considering how high Chautier is on him.

@AAROshaftlund: Teams holding their mid season conference calls throughout the day, will have more updates on each team as they come along...

@AAROshaftlund: Scawles Racing confirms they will drop the ‘Team’ in their name and will expand to a three car team in 2019. They’re quite bare in prospect depth and they said they are going to be addressing that in addition to the driver for the third car. Team is very pleased with their performance and want to soon be mentioned with the likes of JN, RR and ACS.

@AAROshaftlund: Simmons Racing exploring any and all options presented. Mentioned how happy they are with driver Ryan Barley and would like to continue with him as their main AERS driver, and develop prospects within as they grow to rebuild the state of the team.

@AAROshaftlund: #SDR is committing to the building of their team and are quite happy with the two drivers in place right now. They’re good in finances despite rumors and are focused mainly on development and expanding their lower tier programs.

@AAROshaftlund: Ritcher Racing content with their current performance but stated they’d like to see a bit more from their current crop of drivers. Specifically stating that, “The consistency week to week is only present in two of our drivers.” Latinger situation was commented on, but nothing really came of it. They’re in talks with Latinger camp, but doesn’t look to be heading anywhere at this time.
