Richson and Bibson show amazing speed and get top 20s, first time they both been in the top 20 since God knows when
Jerry Richson, who got 12th, was happy to report, that he thought he had a car good enough to win but lap cars messed him up. "We got to do something about those slow ass mother****ers, cause it can really ruin someone's day when they are that slow; but you know what, 12th is my best run in awhile so hope we can carry that momentum over to the next round."
David Lee Bibson was reported, after finishing 20th, going out to and drinking celebrating his first top 20 in multiple races.

Reeds' Post-Race Report:
Allen Reeds Furious with Juveno
Allen Reeds was the first car to retire in the Lucas Oil 200 after being wrecked on Lap 26 by Barry Juveno. Although the wreck looked to be a racing incident, Reeds had no problem using choice words for the rookie Juveno:
"You're a rookie, get out of the way of people who know what they're doing. I'm so sick of these no-talent rookies coming in and taking spot away from vets and then going out there racing like they're chickens with their heads cut off. I'm sick of it."
Apparently, Reeds and Juveno have not talked about the incident, so we'll see where this takes us.
"We did it again? Bad qualifying run by me, but it doesn't matter. We worked hard to a 4th place finish after starting 29th. Good run from Averell also, picking up many spots from 26th to 2nd. Tough breaks for Dawson and Crompton. Unfortunate for Nick especially after leading early... -Nathan Smith
Crompton apologizes for shenanigans, angered by early wreck.
"I probably cost a few teams a few positions and hat is my bad. But what in the f*ck was Lowrey doing? Trying to follow up the track. I came up behind the punk in the 87 too damn fast and I realized could pass him. but no, the f*cking 80 forced like 5 wide. I better not see that shit again... him or his driving..."
