Scransen Injured, may not race The Glen
Jalen Scransen was injured in his wreck with Casey Anderson that brought out the third yellow of the Lucas Oil 200, won by Ricardo Blanco. It is unknown what the specifics of his injury are, but he will definitely not qualify or practice his 26 car at Watkins Glen, it is unknown as of yet if he will race, or his replacement will. His replacement at this time is unknown.
After a fairly nondescript race for Tim Averell that ended in a 12th place finish, he didn't have much to say. Despite missing a race early in the season and still lacking a top 5 finish on the year, he finds himself 9th in drivers' points having finished every race he started. "With the consistency we've been able to have, Averell Motorsports finds itself in solid position to, hopefully in the near future, acquire a certain number we've been trying for as its current driver proves themselves more and more unable to produce results here." This is most likely a dig at David Lee Bibson, who drives the #57, a number long associated with Averell as he rose up in his racing career. Bibson has had a very rough day, yet another in a very tough season for DLB, having made less than half the reces on the year.

David Lee Bibson, makes complete ass of himself, causing 3 accidents directly, while the other two were an indirect result of him holding up traffic. Valene Click, gets solid 15th place finish in her final start in the foreseeable future as Jerry Richson gets Nick's favorite position...7th
Bibson was seen storming out of his car and tossed his helmet before kicking into his hauler, clearly upset by what happened on track and how his season has gone.
"It was a good day of us. We stayed out of trouble and got a solid 15th. It's been a blast and I hope I get more starts in this series in the future" - Click the "She?"
"Another top 10 result. Moved up to 21st in points, which is the highest we have been in years. It's a small victory for us" - Mr. Rich(ard)son
Lester livid with Bibson, intercepted by CAT crew after altercation attempt
(14:22 in video)
After contact between lapped car David Lee Bibson and 2014 Rookie of the Year Casey Lester, who was running in the Top 10 at the time, the latter was fuming over his radio communications about the incident. One prior instance in Winnipeg last season saw the two combating one another after a comment made by the sometimes over-edge New York native regarding Bibson's outburst in which he rumored retirement after a foul race, but the rivalry calmed down a slight bit since then. Clearly this should be the Kingsford to this pile of smolders.
Lester pulled his car, crumpled on both sides after being unceremoniously escorted into the Turn 2 wall on Lap 126, unhooked and dropped the window net swiftly, undoing the rest of his belts and climbing out of the car before his crew could stop him. He bolted to Bibson's pit stall, where he was intercepted by a swarm of yellow and black uniforms who shoved him to the ground. Bibson was already in his hauler. After a trip to the AERS hauler, Lester had some words to say to the press to accompany a cut lip.
"Unreal. Absolutely unreal." Lester first utters to the media before being asked any questions.
Sun Valley News' William Sanger was the first to chime in. "Casey, you've had run-ins with David Lee Bibson prior to today. Do you think that had anything to do with what happened?"
Lester seemed composed, unlike what many expected. "I don't think so, but he's still the same f**khead he's always been. Strugling to make races every week and he decides to screw with faster cars. Guy needs to retire by the end of this year; that s**t is inexcusable. Merged up like I wasn't even there." He pauses briefly. "Oh, and I remember bitching at him about that last year, but now I totally see why [he was thinking that] now."
"How much further does this put your title hopes back?"
"How much do you think? We weren't in good shape beforehand, man."
"Well, is this gonna carry over into your gameplan next week?"
"Not sure yet. Depends on what they'll give me once I shove his face into the pavement."
"Thanks for the time, Casey."
"Yeah, no problem..." Lester said before storming off, unzipping his Aflac firesuit and heading to his hauler. Nobody was caught up for Bibson's reply, but the likelihood of it being a positive response is pretty slim. How hard will these two butt heads next week (or sooner)? Only time can tell.

Bibson replies to Lester, oddly calm but not taking complete blame
After hearing the commotion outside of his hauler and hearing the TV play Casey's interview, David Lee Bibson decided to express his opinion about the incident between he and Lester.
"Listen, I don't blame him for being mad, I messed up and ruined his day. These past few seasons have been nothing but God forsaken awful for this 57 team. So, publicly I would like to say sorry to Casey Lester and his 87 team for messing up there night because they were having a good run."
However, it wasn't all just him saying sorry.
"When you get collected in everyone else's garbage and have a bad night early on, you just do your best to stay out of everyone's way and you know, granted I was slow but it wasn't because I had any say or do it in. Getting wrecked by the big names like Cilantro and Mertz and then getting people pissed off at you isn't my idea of a fun night. So, instead of wanting to fight me, next time just be civil with me. I love the fact my crew guys were there to have my back cause trying to get into it with someone when they are already as down as possible isn't fair or nice whatsoever."
