One Asterisk is Night, Two is Day-To-Night
+ means it's in laps, and goes in front of the lap total, but won't go in front if the track length is one mile
The only tracks with 2 races are Daytona and Charlotte; Daytona kind of has three races
The schedule's messed up but I don't care

Bud Shootout At Daytona*
1. Daytona 500**
2. Namco Presents The Phoenix 500k*
3. Las Vegas Casinos 400**
4. Gatorade 399k At Long Beach
5. Virginia 529+ College Savings At Martinsville
6. Wal-Mart 500 At Talladega
7. Rockingham Pop Secret 400
8. Kellogg's 225 At New Jersey
9. Atlanta 500** By The Georgia Aquarium
10. Bud Light 350k At The Glen** (HELL YEAH)
11. Kroger 300+ At IRP*
12. Carfax Mansfield 400+
Sprint All-Star Proving Grounds Open At Charlotte
Sprint All-Star Challenge At Charlotte
13. Coke 600 At Charlotte**
14. Iowa Corn 300+*
15. Bucyrus 300 At Road America
16. Irwin Tools 300 At Milwaukee**
17. NASCAR Dirt Challenge 200 At Indiana State
18. Coke Zero 400 At Daytona*
19. Fort Worth Home Depot 500**
20. Sony 500 At Fontana**
21. Pepsi 300 At Motegi
22. Toyota SaveMart 350k At Sonoma
23. Sharpie Heartland Park 350k
24. Montreal 400k By Napa
25. Brickyard 400 By Allstate

28. Crown Royal 400+ At Richmond**

29. Charter New Hampshire 300+
30. Charlotte Bank Of America 500*
31. Tennessee Mountains 500+ At Bristol**
32. 5-Hour Energy 350k At Daytona Road**
33. DuQuoin Dirt Challenge 200
34. MBNA 400 At Dover
35. Lenox Kentucky 400**
36. Chicagoland Tropicana 500** (I LOVE Chicagoland for whatever reason)
37. Bass Pro Shops Darlington Southern 500**
38. Ford 400 At Homestead**

I also think NASCAR should hold a stock car road race only division. That would be nice. A schedule:

1. Daytona Road
2. VIR
3. Homestead Modified Road
4. St. Petersburg
5. Mid-Georgia (forget the track name, the Indy Lights raced there in 1997)
6. New Jersey
7. Phoenix Road
8. Portland
9. Infineon
10. Edmonton
11. Indy Road (week after Brickyard 400)
12. Mosport
13. Watkins Glen
14. Montreal
15. Topeka
16. Road America
17. Reliant Park
18. Barber
19. Lime Rock

COMBO AT LOUDON
Mansfield Charlotte Short
Loudon Road Talladega (Don't worry, the Gran Prix circuit)
Stafford Springs Martinsville
COMBO AT BRISTOL
Lime Rock Five Flags

North Wilkesboro isn't open at the moment, but the Save the Speedway foundation has been working for a few years to get somebody to open it again. In '09 they struck a deal with Speedway Associates to get it opened again, and that lasted for a little while, until Save the Speedway walked out on it. Dumb move in my opinion.

Lastly, I think that going to Gilles Villeneuve is also a long-shot, because NASCAR is a national sport, not international.

NASCAR went to Montreal in the Nationwide Series. Doesn't mean Cup can't imo.

I know. Don't ask me how that happened though. I believe my point still stands, though. The N in NASCAR, after all, stands for National.

The National Hockey League sanctions several Canadian teams and was actually started in Canada. I don't think the National label in any sport really means strictly American.

Whereas "national" applies to the nation of origin. We aren't that self-centered.
