What I was up to this weekend.

I was representing Bay High school at the All American Soapbox Derby in Akron, OH. It was a blast, but I got a horrible draw. The girl I ran against beat me once, and I beat her once. But she advanced. She won the entire event, not losing to anyone else. I think if I was bracketed better, I could have done better. There were cars from as far away as North Carolina. Lowell Indiana had a car, and I was relieved to see that it was not an obvious TM Master Cup Series ripoff, nor was it Red Bull sponsored. Overall it was a great time.

I went to Crash-A-Rama at Columbus Motor Speedway this weekend (although I go to CMS every Saturday night anyways).

The $20 ticket? Total... friggin'... steal. It was a blast.

Not to mention, it got to where it was standing room only, and the line still extended back almost to the railroad tracks at the entrance.
