How Ratings Will Be Calculated:

Superspeedway: Highest and lowest positions during course of event at this track genre.
Speedway: Highest and lowest positions during course of event at this track genre.
Short Track: Highest and lowest positions during course of event at this track genre.
Road Course: Highest and lowest positions during course of event at this track genre.

Qualifying: Highest and lowest starting positions overall races.
Finishing: Highest and lowest finishing positions overall races.
Aggression: Best and worst fastest laps overall races.
Consistency: Determined by lap time consistency overall races.

Pit crew ratings are all 40-60.

The chart used above will determine ratings for all cars. For veteran drivers, ratings will be taken based on performance from last season. For rookies, ratings will be taken with four exhibit races at each of the four track genres.

I don't know how to explain it any better. It really pisses me off when I don't make my point clearly.

Yes, for the rookies. Anyone else will have ratings determined based on statistics from last season.

My original intentions to find a way to import ratings from the game using NRatings, so I've been told, are not possible as of now. Therefore, I've been reduced to calculating them manually using the data from last season. I'll be using this chart to do so.

Now I obviously can't do this job alone, so I'll leave cars open to any volunteers that would like to help me take ratings. If you'd like to help me do that, just comment me back on this post.

You can use NRatings to import ratings to cars in game. But you cannot use in game data to make ratings for you is what I meant.

I hate to bump this topic again, but I've changed how I will calculate aggression ratings. It makes it a lot easier for me.

Depending on how the NNRacing.com Shootout does, I may or may not abandon this ratings system. As much as I would want for results to transfer from one season to another, I don't want to do it so that one car has more of an advantage over another. In addition to that, I have a deal with Solstice Racing coming up, and I don't want that to get too much in the way of the time I have for NNRCS, nonetheless school.

We'll see how the twelve that start at Daytona sometime this month think of that.

Yeah, at where I stand now, the decision is probably to abandon the ideal. There are sixty four entries, and I don't have that time to do ratings for all of them. Even still, I worry that there will be too much of a distance in ratings for the season to progress normally.
