| Another major race weekend is upon us, this time, NASCAR style.
I'll be honest though, the real reason I started this topic is because...
Oh, gosh...no, it can't be....
NATIONWIDE AT THE BRICKYARD! EVERYBODY RUN FOR COVER! THE END IS NIGH!

| I hope the Cup race will be decent like last year, but I highly doubt that. I also think that the only reason why Nationwide is at the Brickyard is to gain ratings. Sucks that they might kill such a great track like Lucas Oil Raceway Park... | |

Lucas Oil Raceway Park is still very much alive -- their drag racing campaign will keep them afloat for a while.

| Race starts in a little over an hour...wonder how it'll go. And yes, IRP is very much alive, with drag racing, special short track events and championship races on the oval, and SCCA and track days on the road course. Also, the two lower Road To Indy series, Star Mazda and USF2000 Championship, race on the oval while the upper two race at the Brickyard. In case you are curious, Star Mazda also races at Iowa, but for USF2000, Indy is the only oval race of the year. | |

| Still, they certainly won't be getting the same amount of revenue that they would be if NASCAR was still there. But, seeing how much of a farce that today's race was, I wouldn't be surprised if they go back there.

Don't forget ARCA still runs there. It's not going anywhere, it's just a more "Home track" type of track now imo. Sort of like Berlin, Toledo or Salem. Speaking of ARCA, Kimmel finally won tonight.

There's a lot of mixed feelings after yesterday's race, I understand, but I simply don't care enough for Nationwide to get involved. Good win Keselowski and Roger Penske. Anyways, the Brickyard 400 is today. Montoya's my pick for the win, because he has to get that win here in the Cup Series eventually, right?
