| Matt you realize the teams don't give a **** about their scheme, right?
Of course they'd want to make it exciting and stuff for sponsor stuff, but a team like that....

| They said that they own some Burger King chains, so the paint scheme will be a bit dull. I understand why they did it, now. | |

| Yeah! Tony Stewart won duel 1! Robby Gordon made the race! I think I got him good luck, I got my SPEED Energy package half way through the first race while Robby was out then he raced his way in! Now pulling for Dave Blaney! Looking good right now! | |

| I'm not a fan of Robby, but I have to give him major props for doing this owner/driver operation. That takes a lot. I hope he does well this weekend. | |

| A lot of feelings after the Gatorade Duels.
Now, note that I didn't get home until after the first duel race ended, so I didn't get to watch it. But I did see a replay of Danica wrecking, and I laughed so hard. Not a surprise that Stewart won, although I'd like to see him show it in the Daytona 500.
As for Duel Race 2, the only thing I didn't like was some drivers racing right on somebody else's bumper in the corner at the very beginning of the race. I was happy that Kenseth won, but I think that was destroyed when I found out Joe Nemechek made it, and now Michael Waltrip buying Robby Gordon out of a spot.
Congratulations to Blaney and Reutimann, though. I personally screamed with terror when I found out Nemechek made it. All he's ever done for the past two years is start-and-park.
And I'm so glad those butt-ugly Triad Racing cars didn't make the race.

I know it's Nascar...But laughing at a serious crash like that is quite the a**hole thing to do. Anyone get the vibe that the rest of the weekend will be crash-filled?

Anyone get the vibe that the rest of the weekend will be crash-filled? Oh yeah. The trucks are gonna be doing their usual Daytona smash up, and if the 500's anything like the shootout... *nuke* I get the feeling the Nationwide race is gonna suck TBH. It's always the forgettable race in Speedweeks.

Anyone get the vibe that the rest of the weekend will be crash-filled? I do understand the seriousness of a wreck like that. I got quite nervous just listening to MRN call Jeff Gordon's accident last week. I wasn't so much laughing at the wreck as I was Danica. She's not very popular with me. But yes, I do foresee a crash-filled weekend. I also find it kind of interesting how the first duel race was a crash-fest and the second went all the way without a caution. Like I said, I really don't like how some drivers run right against somebody else's bumper in a corner at the start of the race.

Yes, because that wreck was totally Danica's fault. I know it wasn't. I'm still laughing at her for that. We saw ARCA drivers save the car better than she did. Specifically Kimmel almost wrecking the #9.

Are you honestly f**king joking me? Dude, she was turned into the inside wall at almost 200 miles per hour. Not even Kyle Busch could've saved that car, and on top of that, what if the safer barrier wasn't there and she hit the wall that hard? Would you be laughing about it then?

| On a non-Danica related note, I've got Danica winning. Seriously, I've got Harvick this year. | |

As much as I hate Danica laughing at a serious wreck is a really dickish thing to do.

| I'll be honest: Tony Raines preserving his equipment for the 500 was really a brilliant move on his part. He had a very good car in Qualifying, and if he can avoid a disaster, he could be a dark horse to be the second upset winner in two years. | |

| Dang, DW. You just can't accept the fact that Mikey screwed up. "Oh, he-he-he- had debris on his tires!" | |

| I apologize for what I said in that last post, and I really should have thought it through a little more. If that SAFER Barrier wasn't there, we might have had a hit as hard as Elliott Sadler's Pocono wreck. I do understand how if she had kept her hands on the wheel, she may have jarred her wrists, but at the time, I admit I certainly misunderstood that motive.
I still hate Danica though.
