Negotiations with Fortner Motorsports, Keith Jesse Racing, Shell Motorsports, and Ace Hardware fell through the cracks as legal negotiations with AARO officials also fell through causing the entire AARO racing season in all three divisions to be put on hold until further notice. Ace felt it no longer had the resources to continue with Fortner partnering with KJR and Shell. Driver Treyson McBeel immediately signed off on the termination papers and has offered this statement as he departed the NaturalCures.com Short Track Truck Series:
"First, I like to thank Mike, Keith, and all the guys on the crew for allowing this opportunity while it lasted. I had fun with Keith, and I enjoyed spending the time with the KJR morale. I hate to see this happen, but, just know one thing, people. I have no regrets leaving NCSTT. I love the people who run NCSTT, AYG, and AERS. They're a fantastic group of people. Drivers in the NCSTT have seen some potential in me. I appreciate their support and gladly thank them for this opportunity to compete with them. It's been a great ride, everyone. I thank Fortner Motorsports and Ace Hardware for making this all possible."
"I just sure hope that the AARO can put the pieces back together to start racing again. I talked with some drivers and they're just dad-gum bored not being in AARO right now. I can understand that. For now, I am departing AARO to seek other opportunities at hand. Once again, I have no regrets whatsoever having made the choice, albeit not an easy one at that, to depart from the AARO. Thanks again, everyone. Feel free to contact me if anyone is seeking my service. I'll do what I can to serve you better."
