Go Karting

Subject: Go Karting Sun Sep 18, 2011 11:02 pm

Well for a year now I've been wanting to start racing. I've looked into many different cars and I want to race Go Karts the most. I have no money and can't afford to get a kart let alone enter to race. I'm going to try to get a job and from here on out I'm gonna save up. I'm sick of not knowing what I'm gonna do with my life when I could saving up to race. Anyone else race or trying to start racing?

Raced Go Karts regionally from 12-16, then sort of fell out of it. Won a track championship at Road America's Kart Club, and won a few races. Id like to get back into karts at least at some point, but hopefully Ill have enough money to race SCCA at some point.

I raced 1 kart race @ willow springs. 25 laps i thnk. out of 15, i started like 9th and fineshed 6th. Im luck they have a free day tho Razz

It's arrive and drive and they race at lost of cool places and provide all equipment.

I did a 3 hour with my dad when I was 11, and it was really cool for a first real karting experience.

Nobody, we bought the karts (I had 3 at one time or another) and worked on them ourselves. The graphics on the kart are Birel, the kart manufacturer.

This is a 2002 Phantom Nemesis and the guy is selling it for 1,800. Comes with a bunch of new parts too. Says it won many races in 2009 which was the last year it ran.

I race public karts, but due to my family's lack of both money and resources, I'm not in a good position to do it for real.

I can't do anything on the professional level, and I haven't done go-karts for about 2 years. That's a sick looking ride, though.
