| The Cup Series is at it second and final road course of the season. (Please, somebody other than Juan Pablo Montoya win...) There are 46 cars entered. Entry List: http://www.jayski.com/stats/2011/entries/22wg2011entry.htm
Starting Lineup: http://www.jayski.com/stats/2011/grids/22wg2011grid.htm#lineup
Race Results: http://www.jayski.com/stats/2011/results/22wg2011results.htm
NOTES: #35-Dave Blaney will move over to the second Tommy Baldwin Racing car. #36-Ron Fellows will jump into the primary Tommy Baldwin Racing car, as he is a "road course ringer". #38-Terry Labonte will drive for Front Row Motorsports for this week. NOTE: Watkins Glen race postponed to Monday: UPDATE: A solid band of rain that moved into Watkins Glen just as the race was scheduled to get underway has forced NASCAR to postpone the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at The Glen. Prerace festivities were able to be completed, but the race was unable to get started and NASCAR made the decision to postpone at 4:30pm/et. The race has been rescheduled for 10am/et Monday and will be shown live on ESPN. The weather forecast for Monday is currently for a 60% chance of rain. Gates at Watkins Glen will open for admission beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Monday morning. All grandstands will be open for general admission access and fans with general admission tickets are asked to please allow fans with reserved tickets to sit in the seat they purchased. Fans that purchased a Sunday Fan Walk pass for this weekend will be permitted to access the pits from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garage, NASCAR registration and media center will all open at 7:30 a.m. The Watkins Glen International ticket and credential offices will also open at 8:00 a.m. Fans that have not yet purchased tickets, may still buy tickets for the 90-lap event; tickets begin at just $55. See some weather links on my Watkins Glen Race Page - weather section. UPDATE: The weather forecast for Monday continues to call for a 60% chance of rain, but the morning looks like the best time to try to get the race in. The race got underway as scheduled.

| A few of the editors for NASCAR Illustrated picked Juan Montoya, A.J. Allmendinger and Marcos Ambrose. I almost want to side with the ideal that A.J. Allmendinger could win here, but unfortunately, he doesn't exactly have the equipment to do that. I picked Marcos Ambrose to win at Infineon, and that didn't happen. He didn't exactly do a whole lot through the course of that race either. I want to let the first half of the race weekend to run through before I count him out. | |

| So Ambrose has the equipment to potentially do it to do it but Dinger doesn't? lolwut. Petty's RC Equipment is fine, both of them will be fast.
Anyway, Ambrose gets it done this year.

Anyway, Ambrose gets it done this year. The #43 car hasn't been in victory lane since John Andretti won in that car at Martinsville 1999. That car just doesn't have the speed to do it, but Ambrose might be able to do it in his, knowing that the road course races are his strong points. I'll admit, I forgot that Petty Enterprises and Evernham Motorsports merged two and a half years ago up until you reminded me.

| To get discussion started... Either Tony Stewart or AJ Allmendinger is my pick for the race, whether it be today or tommorow. | |

| Sprint Cup @ Watkins Glen has been washed out for the day. We'll try it again tomorrow morning at 10 AM EST. Forecast doesn't look good for tomorrow either. |

| Me & Eric met each other today. We hung out for a while and left for the race that didn't happen. It was cool, though. | |

| Hell yeah! And I'm glad that both Ragan and Reutimann are all right, I hope. | |

| Reutimann gets hit by Ragan out of turn one so hard that he smashes the opening and FLIPS THE CAR! First roll in the main series this year, and it happened AT THE GLEN NO LESS! Ragan also takes an unbelieveably huge hit. Congrats to the winner! |

I wonder if you would've felt the same if that killed someone. |

| Driver of the Day: Marcos Ambrose. No competition for that. Reject of the Race: I want to say Kyle Busch for being an all-around nuisance to everyone else near the end...
I was listening to the race on MRN, so I haven't seen what happened to David Reutimann or David Ragan. I'm curious as to see what did happen though, because the MRN broadcasters said Reutimann's car was doing cartwheels. I could see that happening in an open-wheel car at this track, but I don't know about a stock car.I do know that Reutimann is okay, though, and I'll try to find the replay a bit later.
I'm almost surprised Boris Said wants to fight Greg Biffle, because he isn't that type of driver I've come to know. I also want to mention what happened when Kevin Harvick got a hold of Biffle at Bristol eight or nine years ago, but I see no real reason to...
