51 - Clyde Latinger - Zaxby's -- Clyde Latinger will take this spot.
52 - Darcy Lusk - Giant Tiger -- Darcy Lusk could have opportunities elsewhere, as he has expressed he does not want to be a career minor leaguer.  However, JN has been trying to sign him to another year in the AYG and Lusk is hoping to move up to the AERS in 2013.

Short Racing Corp./Dodge Charger
11 - Toni Short - Priceline.com -- Since Toni is banned from AERS competition, he will continue to fund his AYG team.
48 - Todd Short - Schrock -- Todd said he's perfectly happy with the AYG and will continue, Schrock is in the middle of a multi-year contract.
65 - Ashton Short - Sponsor TBA -- Unknown.  May not return.
-- SRC has signed another Short family member, as Ashton, Toni's 17 year old son, has joined the group.

Scawles Racing Team/Chevy Impala

101 - Sebastian Morris - Kikkoman Soy Sauce -- Morris' long time friend Jason Scawles owns this team, and Morris said he will not leave unless forced to.  Kikkoman plans to stay on board until 2014.
31 - David Pilar - Unsponsored -- David Pilar will return in 2012, but has plans to attempt the 4th annual McKinley 200 in 2012.
-- Scawles may be the most set team for 2012.

-- Both Pierce sisters have decide to leave racing behind and go back home to PA which leaves the #45 car without a driver, Monster Energy has signed on for a two year sponsorship deal with Legge Motorsports on the #45 car, Megan Woods And Godaddy.com will move from the #40 car to the #15 car, and Emma Dalton will be coming up from NCSTT to drive the #40 with Sirius XM as her primary sponsor. LMS is interested in scouting drivers from in NCSTT or current drivers in AYG who wont have a ride next season. More on this to come once a free agent list is revealed later in the season
Update #1 -- Isabella Reynolds have been signed to a 1-2 year deal in the 45 Monster Energy Chevrolet Impala with the option of leaving at the end of 2012 based on her own wants and needs. With all the drivers signed and sponsorship all taken care of this team is ready for 2012

-- Whitney Fuller's status regarding her AYG ride for 2012 is currently unknown, however if Fuller does not return to AYG, Reed Tanner is being considered for the ride due to his stellar performance in the Regionals, and may move to a 2nd car if Fuller Returns.

Team Jrod is staying the same for 2012. Sponsors have yet to be determined.

UPDATE: Casey Lester has not shown any interest of staying with DDR for 2012, but if he is unable to find another AYG ride, he will stay with the team if needed. His AERS status is much in doubt.

Ryan Cobane is looking for an AERS ride for 2012. If he does not get a ride in AERS then he won't be racing in 2012. He told Eric that he will drive the 04 if he got no other offers but if Casey Lester wants a AERS ride, Eric would put Casey in the 04. Activision and Oreo/Ritz will not sponsor the cars for 2012 and Speed Energy will sponsor all 3 cars.

-- Ryan Cobane leaves 63 too look for a AERS ride. If no offers are given for him and Casey Lester is in the 04 AERS he will most likely stop racing. A few drivers that are rumored to drive the 63 is Logan Alvarez, Casey Lester, and Scott O'Brian.

Remember Eric, you need previous AARO experience to be in AYG next year (I believe).

Logan is taking over driver duties for the 63 for 2011 because there is no other driver to take the spot and he has tons of racing experience in the Indy car of AARO.

Webler Motorsports is pulling out of the fight to get Casey Lester due to wanted Legge to race fore him and a team alliance between Legge and Webler. Ryan Cobane is done and Webler Motorsports is looking for a driver to fill the AERS 04 and will talk to some AYG 2011 drivers.

Casey Lester: I am interested in driving for your team next year in either AYG or AERS. Perhaps I could drive the 15 truck for the last 4 races to be eligible in AERS?

Am I allowed to enter a team in the AYG for 2012 seeing as I have 2 drivers who are in NCSTT and seeeing how i'm going to get license points from the series for both my drivers.

Once I am cleared to race, which should be at the end of this month, I plan to step back into the #49 Blue Keld Mineral Water Ford and drive it for the rest of 2011. If Renesse has any open AYG slots, I am interested in taking one of them.

Update #3 -- Ike Durbin has come aboard the Legge Motorsports team in a shared ride with team owner Will Legge with Sam Adams Lager coming also aboard. Ike Durbin will do double duty in AYG and and the NCSTTS. Will Legge will drive the car for the first 5 races only while Durbin gets the points he needs to be elidgable to race. With the rumors of Megan Woods possibly getting a full ride in the AERS, it is unknown what will happen to the #15 or Godaddy.com. Will Legge says he will do what it takes to ensure that both the # and the sponser stay with the team.
