The McKinley Speedway announced today that it would be expanding its seating from 25,000 to around 80,000 before the 2011 race weekend.
"McKinley is becoming a big deal in today's motorsports", said AARO President David Stone, "This will give more opportunities for race fans in Pennsylvania to see they're favorite AARO stars tackle possibly the most challenging circuit on the schedule."
The main grandstand will not be touched. However, in turns 1 and 4, the speedway will have two new grandstands at the very least. The track however said that they'd like to keep a short track environment within the bullring, not a massive Saskatchewan-esque stadium.
