News just in! Hackson and Burnson out. Alex and Jan Archs in.

Hackson and Burnson, even though they had great runs at Michigan, were told to pack up and leave by the new owners. Hackson and Burnson didn't argue. Alex and Jan Archs, the two new drivers will be coming in for round 15. Alex is in the 35 and Jan is in the 72.

Will you keep the same points as Hackson and Burnson? Or start over?

If you keep, then the results will still say Hackson and Burnson.

George McDonald was called to the hauler after "Lepage'ing" Nick Kozoro in front of a large pack of cars. Here are the penalties for the 05 team:

1) 1 Q Race Suspension
2) Fined $25k
3) After the suspension, Daniel Vernors, former AERS driver, will step in for a one race stint

Tellez upset and angry at McDonald

Louis Tellez really had a strong start today at Michigan, starting 4th, and was running up front for most of the early part of the race, possibly having a shot at getting his first career AERS win at a track similar to Blue Ridge, which his teammate, Shawn Donnelly, pulled off an upset and won the race in his very first start.

But that all changed when George McDonald pulled a "Kevin Lepage" and came up in front of a pack of cars and caused a huge wreck which involved Tellez, defending AERS Champion and hometown boy Nick Kozoro, Kenny Gerrelds, Fred Richter and championship contender Jack Cronin-Walter.

Tellez's comments after the race:

"Man, what the hell was McDonald thinking coming up in front of us like that! That is unacceptable! If you're coming out of the pits and there's a faster pack of cars coming towards you, STAY THE HELL DOWN!!! What was his spotter doing at that time, sleeping or something? After a move like that, that team should be suspended for at least 3 races or the rest of the year for all I care!"
