Maxwell, Scawles, Dominate Corrigan Oil 150 at Michigan
It was a tame race, featuring just one yellow for debris around lap 45, but one thing was certain early on, Scawles Racing was there for the win, by either of their struggling Marathon Racing Tour teams.
Francois Maxwell was the eventual winner of the event, but Vladdy Mraz was the dominant car of the race. Late in the running, using the less grippy low side of the track, Maxwell used a power move to get around his teammate, securing the win late after holding off hard-charging Silver Cody.
“Yeah we had good car,” said Maxwell, “Just tried to be good with it and win, and we did. We had amazing drive in this race, and I am so so happy for the team.”
Maxwell and Mraz both improve in the standings despite having poor starts to the 2018 campaign.

Engine problems relegate Smith to a very poor finish; Bell continues to disappoint
Jacob Smith: We had a very good top 10 car for most of the race until the engine started to go sour after the debris yellow around lap 45. I'm extremely disappointed with our finish today because that kills us in the championship battle.
Micheal Bell: Awful finish, awful car, when is it ever going to change?
There's been some rumblings in the garage area that Bell and Powell Racing are at each other's throats. The team and Bell are committed to running the whole season together as of now.
