| - Team Webler Post-Qualifying Report:
Eric Webler misses first race back in the AERS, disappointed
Team Webler was scrambling to get a car together for race 6 on the AERS schedule, but they did mange to bring one car to the track to attempt the Willow Point Dash. Things however did not go the way Eric Webler planned. After both group qualifying sessions, he timed in with the 38th quickest lap which was not good enough for him to make the show. "I'm disappointed, I had high hopes to make this race and get the team a little more money before McKinley," said Eric Webler. "[I am] Normally pretty good at these road courses, just didn't get enough speed out of this car. Feel bad we couldn't get this car in for Speedway, they stepped up big time for sponsorship on this car, they are the main reason we were able to get a car here. I got higher hopes for next week. We've been working on the McKinley cars since before we announced we were back so I think Dad [Tory Webler] and I will have some nice runs." Team Webler will be bringing a 2nd car for 10 time champion of, now defunct, NRPA, Tory Webler. Tory has ran a limited schedule in 2006 and 2007 in the AERS and is looking forward to be getting back in the car for a couple races with long time sponsor Coors Light helping make this happen. Eric believes that both the #49 and #47 will be racing in McKinley.
