Nathan Smith made an unbelievable charge through the field to come back from a lap down to the top 5 during the races near unending green flag run. Coupled with an, "interesting pedal choice" (as Cris Compton put it over Smith's radio) by the once again dominant Herb Cilantro handed the race to whoever wanted it. Smith's car easily overtook Mikael Carter after a slow restart and some unfortunately on-pace lapped cars made the pass seem effortless.
"I really have to thank the crew here. We'd had a tough weekend never got into the Top 15 in any session and especially our race trims were slow. On the first stop we made major adjustments, that's why we fell a lap down under that yellow, and obviously it worked out. Tough break for all those involved in that traffic jam. Unfortunate for ol' Herbie. How many times is he gonna thrash us all out here and finish in Bibson territory?"
Smith continued his usual joking banter
"Carter fans are gonna boo out of town aren' they? *looks to his left where Carter was answering questions next to him* Sorry bud but call off the hounds!"
Let's say this week's rendition of CarterCentre will be much more hot and cold than usual.
Crompton goes from relevance to Narnia in record time
Carson Crompton ran in the business end of the field all night usually moving between the lower Top 10. However some late race misfortune led him to a 27th place finish.
"We actually fell 2 laps down after a tire issue under caution. Lucky for that last yellow gave me a chance to pass a few more but other than Richson I couldn't really manage much. Not sure what happened with the car I thought I could've gotten past more than just 1 but it wasn't meant to be."
Crompton sits 16th in the standing after a Top 5 in Boston
"At least we made it 3 races this year without a blown engine. '3 days without an accident.' Ill have to flip the counter we have going in the shop. Hopefully we can do better next race, I'm not one for midfield runs. I either wreck or win, or come close to one of the two. "

Jack Jefferson gets a top 10, as Richson and Bibson both suck
