Pitch the most unoriginal movie ever.

I did this at another forum and it was a lot of fun. Here's mine. (Oh, and bonus points to whoever finds the link.)

We open with bland credits. Our protagonist, a quirky, rebellious woman who is often called a girl, is annoyed with the fact that her father neglects his family due to working all the time. Her first day spent having a good time with him in several years, established by shots of the two laughing and rolling around in the grass, makes her realize that she wants more out of life. Thus, she sets off to fulfill her dream of joining the police and catching criminals (with an entirely-CGI gun), a desire that is later emphasized by her father's tragic death the next day in which he shares a very inspirational quote with her. She enjoys some initial success at her new job, taking down EVERYONE in a one-minute montage composed entirely of shaky wide-angle shots, but problems arise when a young bully, who is just a jerk in general as opposed to an actual criminal, announces his intentions to take over the world. Faced with this challenge, she teams up with a quiet, awkward, yet goodhearted and somewhat-attractive Asian man that she initially hates with a passion, but eventually falls for. She then dumps her evil, shallow fiancee for this man, whose characterization is not that much deeper itself, within a week. Unbeknownst to her, however, he is actually a double agent forced to work for said bully at the potential cost of his life. Oh yeah, and he also gets MONEY for every one of the bully's orders that he follows. He is eventually found out, which causes a falling out between the two despite his attempts to explain that he had no choice, but she eventually decides to forgive him. Immediately, the bully traps them inside a secret room of his evil lair, where the man exclaims that he loves her back. They almost kiss, but are interrupted by a loud clanking noise from the air vent, which becomes their way to escape the room and reach the bully's destruction button of doom. They both attempt to fight him, however, the bully bribes the man with A GIANT SUM OF MONEY, provided they do not attempt to harm him, but the man decides to get rid of his selfish desires and do what is right. The three fight amidst some more shaky wide-angle shots and dramatic choir music, but the male hero is knocked out and presumed dead. The woman, clearly upset, cries a single tear which reawakens him when it touches his skin. Upon this, he says he wasn't really dead, which turns out to be the truth. They defeat the bully by knocking him off a cliff, stop the button, save the day, and proceed to have a giant dance party. THE END.

This is a story about an ugly barnacle that was so ugly that everyone died. THE END.

If you're referring to Transformers, there have been countless incarnations of that since the 1990s, the most recent being this February if you don't count the new movie. It's more relevant to today's culture than one would think.

Believe it or not, there was one in I believe 1973. Follows the book as much as Harry Potter followed its books. This not very well known movie is known as the filming debut for Judy Foster, who played Becky. The one thing I love about the movie is that they change Muff Potter from a sad and depressing drunk to a simple booze lover.

Because retro is fashionable, instead of trying to be innovative and come up with something new.

Interesting that the Tribune building got destroyed in the third film, and they constantly gave the Transformers bad ratings...
