"I wanted to have a better debut. I don't think that was a good way to start my big league career."

"I just feel like I cannot do what I want to on track. We'll see what happens I guess".

It's kind of like a restrictor plate track; a lot of shuffling. But she was there for it, though. |

To Dan Fortner, sorry about almost spinning you out. But on the other hand, I never thought my first race would end like this!

Defending Team Champion Fortner Motorsports Starts Season in Top Ten, Dan Fortner Puzzled about Killgore's Driving
Fortner Motorsports goes off on the right footing this time as the defending team champion graduating from the modifieds to the LNT cars. Defending champion Treyson McBeel started on the pole capturing his fourth career pole in the AAPMT to LNT transition. He starts the season in a tie for 10th.
Teammate Dan Fortner was almost spun by Kiara Killgore and after the race, he was puzzled saying this to the press:
"You know, something just begs me to ask what is up with the inexperience of Kiara Killgore. This is truly uncalled for. I know she appologized for nearly spinning me out and I accept it, but, that's just not right. We're barely getting off on the right footing with this Fortner Motorsports Pontiac program. I mean, yeah. Sure. I'm in my first season here, too, but I have had some testing time with Treyson in the modifieds before we switched completely over to the LNT full-bodied stock cars. We are now underway to helping Fortner defend its team championship and Treyson with defending his title. Who knows? Perhaps I'll end up with it, too, if all things go well after this."
Treyson McBeel, last year's modified champion says this:
"This is a hard track to race on. It's the handling and the restrictor plate kind of racing that can really come up and bite you if you're not on top of your game. We had the pole and just lost the footing on the Pontiac for some reason. Don't know why that is, but, starting in the top ten is way better than where I first started in the open-wheel modifieds. My experience in other stock car leagues has led me to this point, and this will soon help bolster my chances of going into the AYG and AERS leagues in the future. I'm already in the NCSTT program with the Shell Motorsports and Keith Jesses Racing conglomerate. I'm pretty sure we can get this thing done throughout this season as the Logitech National Tour defending champion."

Jack Brayshaw Happy With 5th
"Aye, mate, this was a good race for the team [Chatephere-Alpline Motorsports]. In any series, we've been a bit down." said Jack Brayshaw after the Round of Saskatchewan had concluded. Brayshaw had Verizon lined up for a sponsor, but the Aussie chose to run a blank scheme to honor his mother Kristina, who lost a six-year fight with prostate cancer. "Heck, I'm probably the only guy on the team who doesn't get his name mispronounced during intros. Rear tire changer O'Connell Flonhell, car chief Chisholm Vüchterzeigwreicht..." The avid jokester said.
