| 8 Laps To Go:
Contey's Spotter: "Car 81 is holding up the outside a bit" Contey: "Take Mertz off the track! He'll wreck somebody! Same thing that happened at Daytona!"
*wreck happens*
Wilkinson's Spotter: "Mertz came down on you, not your fault, he shouldn't been on track. Not a whole lot of damage on you." Wilkinson: "Should we just park it? This sucks!"
Both Contey and Wilkinson upset with AARO
Bruce Wilkinson displayed some great racing, despite being in two wrecks. Contey was able to keep his car off the highlight, which is most of a time a good thing. But the racing displayed made both drivers furious.
Wilkinson says: "Hate this type of racing. AERS is gonna kill somebody, I know it. I'm regretting having started, this was bull. If you'll excuse me, I'll go have to talk with Jack Jefferson....".
Contey refused to comment, and the first thing he did was stop by the 80 garage. He was talking over the radio about having some choice words for Bandsma, in spite of recent events.

| Jack Jefferson, first post-race run-in with Bruce Wilkinson
Jack Jefferson, was released from the medical center with nothing more then a deep bruise in his right leg, kept his word. When he was released he waited for Bruce Wilkinson to exit his car and then he had his chance to spring. Heated words were exchanged and it was topped off with Jefferson, hitting Wilkinson, in the leg with a wrench. Pit road crews and officials stepped in and stopped Jefferson after the assault. Before they could get ahold of him, Jefferson ran off to find the 48 driver...
Part 2 Post-Race Fight coming soon.

| Wilkinson not done with Jefferson
Wilkinson: "He's just stupid. Tried to tell him I was hit by the 48. He wants to be that way then i'll go try something else."

| Wilkinson punches Jack Jefferson!
Wilkinson has been shown to have a passion for racing. And when redundant brain-farts are made, he gets his wild side on. When Jack Jefferson is reluctant to listen to Wilkinson's side of the story, Wilkinson throws several punches, and most of them hit Jefferson. No word on Jefferson yet.
Wilkinson: "I'm just getting even. A wrench to the kneecap is not what you get for being a victim of a brain-failure (referring to 48)."
Also word on something going on in the 80 garage, no word on what happened.

| The AARO Steps In
AARO Officials have said that Jack Jefferson and Bruce Wilkinson have been fined $100K.
Any further actions will result in a bigger fine.

| I converted part 3 to an MP3 and then listened to it on my iPod. I just wish I could have heard the sound of Jen winning Speaking of which, here's her interview... Q: Jennifer Smith, you were so close to earning 426 Motorsports its second straight McKinley victory. Did you think you had anything for Grant Jacobs? A: Well, on that last restart, I thought he was gonna give it up after Scransen got under him... 'cause I thought I knew what most people got at this track, that they could ride to the top but they couldn't ride ON top. But even then, the lights were off and he just showed us how his car glowed. He was the last man standing, and he was never scared. That's what it takes to win here, and my congratulations go out to him. Q: Did you have any sort of strategy for approaching this race, or was that impossible since this is McKinley? A: Well, the first 10 laps, I knew they were gonna be competing for the lead, but I don't need to screw with that when it's that early in the race. And you had guys like Wares and Tellez who didn't believe that...and it was their loss. Q: Would you say you're content with fourth place even after having a shot at the victory? A: After Lorenzi got by me, I just let it go. I mean, I knew there was no way I could have won then. I just got back in line, 'cause we were all burning...so the story goes. So yeah, it makes me wonder what could have been, but at the same time, if I'd gone for it I might have been trapped in an upside-down car. Besides, Vinny came on and told me we're in the top 25 now, so...the next time the cars get put on the track, we've got a better chance to bury AARO-town! A: OK, thanks for your time. Congrats, and good luck next week. Q: No prob. | |

| Matt Contey involved in shoving match with RJ Bandsma
Previous to the start of the race, RJ Bandsma and Matt Contey had some heated words for eachother. Contey didn't get off it easily, and before the race was 20 laps old, Bandsma destroyed the entire rear end of the 85 car. Contey went looking for Bandsma when the race was over, and sabatoged the 80 garage. Moments later, he and Bandsma were shoving eachother. Bandsma reportedly threatened to "call the cops" on Contey. Tools were all over the ground. Again, Contey refuses to comment.

| Sauer; Kennedy Brawl Post Race
