Wrecks, wrecks, wrecks, OH MY! There were alot, here are some that stand out:
Lap 9 - NLRS Racing Cars, the 8 & 5 take eachother out.
Lap 11 - Dominant Car Kenny Gerrelds gets into Ross Lowrey and Greg Sauer to take him out of contention. | |

| YES! Lautenschlager and Awwad in! Home track advantage for Lautenschlager also.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Both DDR Cars Qualify For Race #4 at Mosport Awwad was pleasently surprised when at the end of the race, crew chief, Frank Kringelz informed Awwad he had qualified for the DDR hometrack. Team owner, Lautenschlager decided to put their team shop in Hamilton, ONT which is just 45 minutes from Lautenschlager's hometown of Elmira and 20 minutes away from Mosport so their were many more emotions shown when both Lautenschlager and Awwad qualified for the Mosport race. Lautenschlager's crew chief Jake Messier from Hamilton even shedded a few tears, but put on the smile that was needed to show that this team has the potential to win races and contend for top 10 finishes. A win here in Mosport this week would be a very emotional win and Lautenschlager said that winning this race would be even more meaningful than winning at McKinley or Daytona. He also said winning this race would be like winning at Lowell Superspeedway in NORA. | |

| tension in NLRS garage: Casey Anderson Jeremy Johnson furious with each other. With the 5 and 8 taking both them and Nate Knowitall out of the race. this literally took Jeremy Johnson out of contention for the 8 ride. That feuled his fire as a fight broke out in the shop. Knowitall broke up the fight, though he later admitted he was frustrated too.
CASEY ANDERSON'S COMMENTS:It was hard to tell who caused it. Im just lucky I got the other full time ride, i dont understand what its like to only have 4 races to impress the boss. So, i dont blame him for being p.o.'d
NATE KNOWITALL'S COMMENTS: I was just racing along, then the next thing I know, Im getting involved, like always, in someone elses mess. It wasnt until i got out of my car that It was my teammates. I broke up the fight because then theyd get suspended, and or team would lose MORE money.
JEREMY JONSON COMMENTS: GOD! I just want a chance! I dont know whos to blame, but i was just blinded with pure anger, and the best person, if any, to direct my frustration at was the other guy that was initially caused the wreck.
Team owners say that if that the team didnt have high success in the MLCS, wed fold. Or, the Andersons would by the team due to their success in the NAS. |
