| Mertz happy with yet another 2nd:
"I'm proud for the boys back at JCR. We haven't had much luck in Cup this year and to come out, crash at Daytona then get close to winning twice. I feel this team is heading in the right direction to compete for wins in the future. Congrats to Herb Cilantro, I watched him win that crashfest of a race at McKinley while spinning, that was pretty cool to see. Hopefully I can get a win in Cup or AERS soon. |

| Eichholtz Motorsports: Up and Down Day
Former NORA truck and NORA Alpinestars Series champ Patrick Eichholtz gave Eichholtz Motorsports their best finish of the rough season so far in 15th. Meanwhile, Michael Levy got caught in the fence when he was turned by Jorge Hernandez. Levy was caught upside down in the fence. Safety crews extracated him from the car, and he walked to the ambulance under his own power. |

| Nate Knowitall comments- Well, though i wrecked, as usual, but i seem to do well here, to top 20 finishes, hopefully we do even better next week
Casey Anderson comments- I got what i wanted: Track expierence, and a decent finish, the only thing Id change, wrecking an innocent driver. |

| Highlight to See:
Matt Contey: I'm sort of glad I was 3 spots out of the race during the qualifying races. Hornadez had a scary, scary moment right there.

| Elder Mertz responds to crash:
This is why I stepped out of the car. It appears these drivers have no talent at all, and when a car is flying through the air almost going completely over the Catchfencing and into the grandstands, thats a problem. |

| LT Motorsports pleases home crowd with solid run
To sum up this weekend's race at Boston for LT Motorsports... Impressive. Most Impressive.
Louis Tellez, after scoring his first career AARO AERS win at Daytona, won his very first AARO AERS Pole at his home track with his teammate, Shawn Donnelly, starting 3rd, exactly the way they finished at Daytona... and both seemed to be the odds on favorites to win, though many can assume of being biased just because LT Motorsports is located within the area.
Tellez seemed to have the better car than his teammate, but the main battle for the lead was between Tellez and Herb Cilantro, who was one of the top drivers in contention for the championship last season. Tellez and Cilantro were arguably the two best cars all race long, but on this day, Cilantro was the better man as he went on to win the race at Boston and Tellez wound up finishing 4th behind the #42, the #81 of Josh Mertz & the #76 of Christopher Kennedy.
Tellez caught up with reporters after the race:
"This was a great day for everyone on this #12 Walmart Chevy team, Shawn did good as well, we both really gave the home town peeps a hell of a race, but Herb definitely had the car to beat here today. This track, you can run up high, in the middle or down low, it's like a mix of Atlanta and the Rock, that's what so unique about this track, you can run anywhere. I think if we had at least 5 or 6 more laps and a quick yellow, we would've had a shot for the win, but i'm still proud of the great run."
While Tellez had a great race, Shawn Donnelly was a bit disappointed, but not on his 19th place finish, rather on the wreck he had with Nate Knowitall, which was part of the reason he finished 19th, and had some choice words to a familiar face.
"We had a good run, but I tell you, Louis was right, Josh Mertz doesn't know how to handle racing in AARO than in NORA, coming out of 4 he was up high, Nate was in the middle and had a run and Mertz comes down and pushes Nate down into me, and it's because of him that I struggled the rest of the way. He might have finished 2nd two races in a row, but racing dirty ain't gonna win you races and earn people's respect, and he certainly hasn't earned mine."
LT Motorsports now heads to the road course at Watkins Glen, but road racing hasn't been the team's strong suit, but we'll see what happens at the Glen.

| Mertz responds to Donnelly:
I was holding my line on the outside, getting the most momentum...Nate got tight and slid up...don't pin this on me.. |
