Representatives from C87A Inc. have said that 2C1, LLC; the parent company of the American Sports Network, has agreed to a 1 billion dollar buyout. This comes with the all the workers from C87A announcing that they will keep their jobs, working behind the scenes for the newly formed AERS on ASN. This is the 4th Sports Association that ASN is partnered with, Along with NORA, the American Football Association, and the American Pro Basketball League: Playoffs.
The Network will be called AERS on ASN starting the 2010 Season.

"We are very excited to be acquiring C87A Inc;" said 2C1, LLC President and CEO Jonathan Myers. "We hope we can give the fans of the AMP Energy Racing Series exciting broadcasting, with the motto "Broadcasted by fans, for fans."
Tim Baltazar, Lead NORA Broadcaster said: "I'm really excited. In my opinion, ASN is the best Sports coverage around. Even on the bad days, with the support of these guys[the crew]it pumps me up so I can broadcast in a semi-good mood."
