| i have been experimenting with track.ini's to have realistic racing here's how..
ok first go to a track file for example daytona
Superspeedway-INI 1. find the track ini 2.first find chassis_type = 1 3. change 1 to 2 so you will go at realistic speeds of about 180-197 mph 4. then scroll down till you find ai_drafting_distance = 1.5 5. change 1.5 to about 0.3-0.5 for realistic bump drafting like the will be bumper to bumper
Speedway-INI
later
Short Track-INI
later
Road Course-INI
later | |

| My realism:
Superspeedway: Chassis setting: 2 AI Drafting Difference: 1.1 I delete the whole line: ai_line_modifier = 1.00
Indianapolis (For Indy 500 setting's (OWR2007): Chassis Setting: 1 Ai Drafting Difference: 5.0 I delete the whole line: ai_line_modifier = 1.00
Speedway: Chassis setting: 2 AI Drafting Difference: 1.0
Short Track: AI Drafting Difference: 0.85
Road Course: Chassis Setting: 4 AI Drafting Difference: 7.0 I delete the whole line: ai_line_modifier = 1.00 strategy_lap_time_fuel_use_gain = 0.397

I did this and the cars go up to about 200-206 not 180-197. Even changing the drafting distance wont slow these cars down.

| To slow the cars down: Step 1: ai_drag_modifier = 1.00 ; > 1.0 = more drag, which is slower Step 2: ai_drag_modifier = 1.85 ; > 1.0 = more drag, which is slower | |
