| THE NEW JERSEY DEVILS HAVE CLINCHED A PLAYOFF SPOT! Taylor Hall is a Hart (MVP) Trophy candidate, but I don't think he should get it. Made a great case for it with his play this season. | |

| Avalanche and Devils, after disappointing seasons, have qualified for the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs. It's kinda miraculous. Shohei Ohtani is also looking like the real deal; he's been spectacular for the Angels and the baseball world can't stop talking about him. | |
