I will update this post on what templates and such will be available, the basic ones can be found
here. Please make sure they are 1024x1024. Some key points:
- First and foremost, make sure you let me know your paint situations OR if you're painting a team that isn't yours, run it by me first, I may have a plan/already painted them.
- For the driver name banner on top of the windshield, please use 23pt font Impact Italicized, upper case first letter, lower case for the rest, keep the original manufacturer logo’s on each side visible.
- Keep the American Ethanol logo around the gas tank visible.
- No sponsors on the roof like they do in NASCAR.
- Wheel coloring is fine, but if your driver is to have alternate schemes, the tire color from the primary must stay.
- Numbers on the right headlight and right taillight are required. 5 numbers on the car maximum.
- A driver signature on each side in addition to the windshield banner is required.
- Contingencies (To be released in a future update) are obviously required.
- If a big team, I’d suggest putting B and C-pillar logo’s.
- Mask should be off when sent.
- When sending the .TGA file, please send as, 2016_##, ex: 2016_20 would be Deefer’s .TGA.
- All cars must be finalized when sent. I’m not going into GIMP and fixing people’s cars if they are not lined up/do not have requirements. They are your pieces of work, and it’s your job to fix them.
That may sound harsh/picky, but I’ve wanted the series to feel like a top-level series for a while. As in, there is not any sloppiness/differences between cars and such. I have the right to deny any vehicle I wish if it is not up to the new standards.
