Durbin Comes from Obscurity to Win Atlanta 150
Ike Durbin only led two laps in the Atlanta 150. Luckily for him, they were the most important two, the final two. Durbin's rookie season had been extraordinary already. In five races, Durbin had scored a DNF, but made up for it as well, with top ten finishes in each of his other four starts.
Durbin had complained that his car's handling was very poor early on, as he rode at the back for a while. "It seems like this happens every week. It's really kinda funny. Our qualifying setup was awful and the race setup was for a while too, but in those last few runs, my crew chief made a change that made the car awesome, and I had to pace myself because it looked like they were gonna wreck there a few times. But man, this is awesome! I won!"
