2014 AERS Ratings Package (Yes, we have one now)

To start, this is how ratings are laid out in NASCAR Racing 2003 Season, for those who do now know this. Each stat carries a MIN and MAX rating.

For each category, you will set stats at certain ratings based on your rank:

CATEGORY 1: Driving Style

Aggression
Consistency
Finishing
Qualifying

CATEGORY 2: Track Skills
Road Course
Short Track
Speedway
Superspeedway

CATEGORY 3: Car (All cars on a team must have the same ratings in this category for the sake of realism. The four Min/Max values for this category will also be the same across all driver ranks.)

Aerodynamics
Chassis
Engine
Reliability

However, the package does not end here. All drivers will be assigned a rank based on his or her previous accomplishments. A driver need only qualify for one bullet point to enter a certain rank:

Ratings:  Two stats to 75-85, one to 80-90, and another to 88-100.

RANK A (Two stats to 75-85, one to 80-90, and another to 88-100)
- Former AERS champions
- Drivers with at least one top-5 points finish (in seasons that have actually been run in NR2003)
- Drivers with at least five AERS wins

RANK B (Two stats to 70-85, one to 75-90, and another to 83-100 for EITHER Category 1 or 2, unchanged for the other)
- Livonia 250 winners
- Drivers with at least one top-10 points finish (in seasons that have actually been run in NR2003)
- Drivers with at least two AERS wins
- Former AAPT/APTS champions

RANK C (Two stats to 70-85, one to 75-90, and another to 83-100 for category 1 AND 2)
- Drivers with at least one top-20 points finish (in seasons that have actually been run in NR2003)
- Drivers with at least one AERS win
- Drivers with at least one AAPT/APTS top-10 points finish

RANK D (Two stats to 70-85, one to 75-90, and another to 83-100 for category 1 OR 2,  two stats to 67-85, one to 72-90, and another to 80-100 for the other)
- Everyone else

All pit crews will be rated at 50-100 in all categories.

If you do not send in ratings, your car will be randomly rated as a Rank C car.

Everyone Else

Deadline for Ratings to be sent in is on Wednesday. Anyone who hasn't sent in ratings by then will be randomly rated as a Rank D driver, and any team that didn't send ratings will be randomly rated.

For next season? Yes.
For this season? I don't know yet, but it might be a hassle.
