| Subject: Should Austin Fisher of Ohio walk out with a H.S. diploma? Mon Apr 16, 2012 10:59 pm | |
| My own two cents from Now.MSN.com regarding Ohio high school student denied graduation because of ill mother with cancer. *Keep in mind, this school district is UBER-Hypocritical and I don't say that lightly. After you have read the article or my comment on the article, please weigh in on the subject. *For the story: Click the link to see the storyMy comment after I read the article: Are you kidding me? These people at this high school do not appreciate the fact that Austin had worked his butt off for that diploma. It is an integral part of adult growth. Without it, Austin may have to look for another avenue which would be far more stressful and far more harder for him and his family to bear. I must say that is an absolute atrocity. The kid deserves a high school diploma even under the circumstances that beset him and his mother. I fully support Austin Fisher and family and wish him the best. Now, as for these crooks at Carrollton High School are concerned? Peh! They can stick a fork in this for nearly costing this kid a future in his adult growth. I am convinced that Austin will win the fight, no matter where it is. This kid does not deserve to have the carpet swept underneath him and be tripped over becaue of missing more than the alotted days. I will not be surprised if Austin gets vindication and goes on to walk with his peers at Carrollton High with a diploma in his hand. I am proud of that kid and his family, and again, I wish them all the very best in these trying circumstances. | |
