Caution Flags: 1 (5 laps) Lead Changes: 4 (4 drivers) Weather: Clear, 86 °F, North 14 mph
The only caution of the day occurred on lap 55 for debris. Brian Wilson led up to lap 42, when green stops occurred and Wendy Fisher assumed the lead. Fisher faded off on the restart. Leckliter went in the pits too long after running 2nd, and fell a couple laps down. He SOMEHOW rebounded and finished 20th. Williams led from lap 65 to 75, when Wilson passed him off turn 4 on the final lap to bring home a photo finish Q-Race victory. Also, Herb Cilantro, on the first run, came from 29th all the way into as high as 4th. Impressive performance by the 42 team.

Caution Flags: 5 (24 laps) Lead Changes: 5 (6 drivers) Weather: Clear, 88 °F, South 7 mph
This race was called 40 laps in due to everyone in the race at that point locked into the event. The first yellow was from a Keith Davis spin on the backstretch. Caution 2 saw Lorenzi Rossini dump Bruce Wilkinson into the infield grass, slide up and collect Landon Rody (who flipped), Carson Crompton, Daniel Micks, Bo VanPelt, Bill Sabo and Greg Sauer. Micks, who was slow, got in the way of leader Kozoro, and the leaders wrecked, including the 99, 39, 49, 40, and 65. Will Legge, who had been leading, pit, came out 10th, and went on the apron on the green and took out Greg Sauer, himself, and Jacob Eichholtz (who was already a ton of laps down due to early damage). Joey Johnson would end up passing Mike Oppenheimer and Chad Lapinski on pit late to take the victory. He and teammate Nate Knowitall, were the only 2 cars in the 28 car field to have no damage.

| "All 3 cars 14th or better is a great qualifying result. Todd and Jonathon have both been here before, so they've helped me get up to speed quick. I have really high hopes for this race!" - Mike Oppenheimer | |

| A few fun facts about the qualifying in the season so far:
- The winner of each race has started from the 29th position. If this were to happen again, Brian Wilson would be the winner of the Ford 200.
- The polesitters of the first two races has not scored a top 10, with Deefer at Livonia placing 11th and Webler at Daytona placing 33rd.
- Whoever has started 42nd has gone on to get a top 25. 9th at Livonia and 25th at Daytona.
- The best finish from the starting position of 2nd is 13th, by Louis Tellez at Daytona.
- There has been at least one qualifier from the top 10 finishing in the top 10 since 2001.
- Herb Cilantro won this event last season from the 17th position, and the 12 of Louis Tellez, who started on the pole, finished 4th.
