TL: Man! You guys are dead on with this car. I love the handling. Perfect!
CC: No adjustments on the first caution?
TL: Hell no!

Crew Cheif: Caution is out, do you want any adjustments?
Dan: You kidding me? the car is perfect right now!

Legge's In-Car Audio

L -- Were climbing slowly in the pack so no adjustments we just need to stay on the bottom grove and we may be able to get up there
C -- 10/4.

Richson's radio

Richson: "That was just ****ing perfect. Nothing like getting taken by the number 2 point man from last season. I know now why he was number 2, cause he drives like ****."

Bibson's radio

Bibson: "Haha, I missed it. This racing is so much better then the trucks."

Thanks Vinny, means a lot, because I wasn't so sure if it was going to be any good.

Being that Bruce Wilkinson had DNQ'd the race, he opted to spot for his teammate, who did not have a spotter prior to the race. Here's some of Contey's audio.

Lap 3:

MC: "I didn't come to like this track when we came here at first, but this thing is fast on the bottom. I'm going to try and have a shot at the lead; don't change anything on this racecar next pit stop."

Crew Cheif: "10-4, go get 'em."

Lap 4:

BW: "They're mentioning you on TV right now, dude. They've got a pit reporter down there right now."

MC: "Are they stalking our radio?"

BW: "..."

Lap 7:

MC: "I'm under him, I'm gonna go at 'em now."

BW: "Three wide, hold your line; push, push, push..."

*Contey takes the race lead*

MC: "Alright, I'm at it, let's keep it up here."

Lap 9:

BW: "Caution's out, hold your position."

BW: "Woah, Wendy Fisher just took a Steve Rada to the inside wall."

MC: "That seems to be happening a lot lately, eh?"

Lautenschlager was claiming before that wreck, Contey was actually holding him up. Not as fast as commentators said.
Not happy about Maneran starting that....

Crew Cheif: you ok Dan?
Dan: yeah, I'm fine....

interview: "I had nowhere to go, all I saw was the wreck behind me, then next thing you know, I'm barrel rolling. sucks that I I wrecked out of my debut, but there's always next week."

S: Crash in the back your good though
WL: How bad
S: Pretty damn bad... 13, 27, 85, and alot more were involved.
WL: Oh no not Contey...
CC: Do i sense a bit of sarcasm?
WL: Well the bonehead nearly took me out a 5 laps ago so exuse me if i dont feel remorseful...
CC: hehe 10/4 bud. Were doing good so lets try and get to the front of the front. Hopfully that bumb from Contey wont hurt us that much
WL: I think were ok but we'll take a quick look when we get in

CB: Yellow Out Mike, big one down the Front Stretch.
MO: Aight, where we runnin'?
CB: 6th spot right now, how's the car feel?
MO: This thing is a rocketship, if we stay out of trouble, we'll be golden.

Lap 16:

MC: "Car just got really tight, I can't get it down to the bottom."

CC: "10-4, we'll take some wedge out on the next stop."

Lap 21:

BW: "Cars low, hold your line."

MC: "WOAH!"

MC: "Did you see what the 40 car just did? Almost pushed the 34 straight up the track off of four. Damn, that was almost a wreck right there."

Lap 22:

MC: "Oh, s**t!"

MC: "Saved it!"

BW: "Three wide, hold your line. What happened?"

MC: "I don't know, did we get run over?"

BW: "Looks like it; nice save."

Lap 27:

BW: "Alright, we got the double zero pushin', try to work with him and get to the bottom when you can."

MC: "WOA-"

*Wreck happens, Contey slams the outside wall*

BW: "Hard hit, are you okay?"

MC: "I'm fine; was that the 65?"

BW: "That's what the replays are showing us."

MC: "No reason he should've been tailgating the 56 all the way through the turn. That's ridiculous."

BW: "10-4"

CC: "Let's take it to the garage and see if we can get the car fixed."

Contey Talks About Brutal Hit

Reporter: "Matt Contey has just been checked out of the infield care center; Matt, take us through that accident."

Matt Contey: "I saw whoever was in the 65 start pushing the 56 all the way through the corner. I'm not saying that I'm any better than anyone else out here, but any good racecar driver should know that bump drafting in the middle of the corner is a very bad idea. I don't know what the 65 was thinking, if he was trying to work with the 56 or not, but that just absolutely ridiculous to be that close to another guy's bumper min the middle of the corner."

R: "Are you okay?"

MC: "I'm fine, I just got a bruise on my leg from the hit, but it isn't a whole big deal."

R: "We saw you go from the lead to mid-pack within minutes, what was the deal with your racecar?"

MC: "We just got real tight, and we couldn't get down on the bottom when we needed to. I was letting up on the gas to stay off everyone else, almost take ourselves out little more than twenty laps in, then we end up like that *points to racecar*. We had an excellent racecar, and I hate it for the guys that built me the car that we brought here today and then have to see it crunched at 200 miles an hour. We'll just keep building ourselves fast cars, and probably win a race someday."

R: "One last question, Tyson Lautenschlager said that you were holding him up, what is your defense?"

MC: "I wasn't holding him up; like I said, I'm trying to let up to stay out of everyone else's way. If he has to whine about it to the AERS, that he can do that, and we'll deal with it."

R: "Thank you."

MC: "Yeah."

From what I could tell, that save we made on Lap 22 was not our fault. I couldn't tell what the hell happened. But please don't put us down. Matt Contey is my actual name, and I can't contol what happens on the racetrack. So if you still plan on doing that, please, keep it light, on my request.

What?

1st of all, anything said about a driver in any series on here is about the character, not about the real person. You should know that based on prior experience. If you are too sensitive to hear storyline remarks featuring your real name,then you shouldnt use your real name.

2nd of all, Eric's comment clearly is about him being disappointed that you got wrecked....
