| With some programming knowledge, could it be possible to make a program that reads replays, and constructs TV-graphics for that replay?
If you know what I'm talking about. I need a broadcasting team for NNRCS's primere event, and this is what I had in mind. Maybe a couple of us could get together, and work such a program in time for the AERS Daytona event?

| there's no actual program, you'll need to create overlays. it's a manual process. | |

| What I'm trying to say is that maybe a couple of us could get together, construct a program that reads replays, and creates TV Graphics for it, and if we get the project underway, we could use it for the AERS full coverage of Daytona. With some programming knowledge, this could be done, right? I don't understand why this is so hard to comprehend. | |

| I might understand what your trying to say? You want to gather people to make a race commentators, pit road commentators, garage reporters, things like that. | |

| No. What he wants is a program that can analyze a replay and determine what position etc. the cars are running in and then creates accurate tickers, overlays etc. based on that data. Which no, cannot be done without modifying the exe, and much more programming knowledge than all of us put together have.. | |

Yes, but I'm not necesarrily talking about in the game. I mean, to a FRAPS recording of a full race. First this program would read the replay, make working TV graphics for said replay, and it could be overlayed to an NR2003 FRAPS recording.

| i'm sure it's possible, however, it would require a considerable amount of programming knowledge. of course, there are a few programs out there already that broadcast over the internet and include a ticker. that could be used as an overlay...possibly. | |

I don't know about that... but I doubt his idea would work with the knowledge we have.

| He's asking if we could make a program that reads results and replays, so it can make a live ticker to go over the FRAPS recording. |

Now, see, that does make sense. The way he originally phrased it confused me.
