| RJ is banned from NORA, this forum, and more than likely, AARO. Strike One due to discussing him, Casey. |

| For those of you that have your hopes up (or down) due to the practice results, let the record show that ALL 42 CARS were within .3 SECOND of each other. | |

| Cesar Gonzalez, Jr. Racing for a Ride
It has been reported that Cesar Gonzalez, Jr. would rather race in the AERS in 2011 rather than race in the Office Depot Indycar Series. He was told if he could finish this race and inside the top 25 he will be back in car #49 next year. If he causes a huge accident and does not finish the race he will likely not race again in 2011. What does this say for Noah Krongoz then? Darien Maneren could be out of the 65 next year which is a part-time deal and then Krongoz would race the 65. Now, what about the Cesar Gonzalez Autosport Indycar team. If Gonzalez Jr. stays in the AERS former Indycar champ, Gonzalez Sr. could return for a one-time deal.
"I've been seriously thinking about staying in the AERS for sometime now but I have decided to go public about it just now. I think that if I left the series now I'd regret it. Hopefully Tyson lets me stay." - Cesar Gonzalez, Jr.
"This is something we've been talking about for a while so it's not much of a new development. Cesar loves running in the AERS so were really considering this. He has done a pretty good job in this 49 and we really don't want to let him go and he doesn't want to be let go either so will just have to see what happens and go from there." - Tyson Lautenschlager
"This is kind of upsetting but even if it does happen I'll still have that part-time ride in the 65. I'd just prefer full-time."

I doubt it. Cilantro and Scranson need to crash out and finish 41st and 42nd for him to win.

| Stone: Starting and Parking Will Not Be Tolerated
Upon completion of qualifying for the AERS Finale 250 at Darlington Raceway, the AARO announced a new rule that appeared to be directed at the various teams that, throughout the year, have been known to run only the first few laps of a particular event and then drop out, also known as "start-and-parkers". This regulation stated that, for the duration of the race at Darlington, no cars would be permitted to retire from the race unless the team fielding the car could provide a legitimate reason for the vehicle not being able to race.
AARO president David Stone spoke on this decision after being confronted by the media.
"If anyone tries that mindless trick on Sunday, there will be consequences." Stone uttered. "Starting and parking will not be tolerated for this race, and I mean every word of that."
Stone went on to allege that these teams would interfere with the battle for the 2010 AERS title.
"Based on the current standings, the situation we have is if only two cars drop out of the race intentionally, we could have one contender eliminated or even have the title already decided. We're a major sports governing body and we can't have teams that don't even want to participate cutting off this championship battle for teams that have worked their rear ends off to get where they are. It simply would not be fair, for the drivers, teams or fans."
Stone refused to reveal the extent of the penalty that would be assessed to teams if they park, saying only "They'll know if they get it."
