McBeel wins second consecutive race, ties Zach McRae for points lead

This points battle is now getting fierce. With McRae and Treyson McBeel tied for the AAPMT championship points, there's no telling how fierce this battle will get. With three races remaining, Fortner Motorsports is on the verge of a championship, but they'll have to put more muscle to the metal in the next race.

"This is a great opportunity for us to capitalize now that we're tied with Zach McRae's team for the championship. It's a tight one, I can assure you. This car was on rails today. I'm proud of this team, Kyle is ecstatic. I'm pretty sure he fell from the chair when I took the checkers." says McBeel.

Kyle's feelings after Treyson crossed the line first:

"I looked at the chart and went you gotta be kiddin' me! The next thought that came into my mind is Good god! We're tied! This kid is on fire. It's quite an understatement for Treyson and this whole team that we've come so far after all the hardships and troubles in the first five races. Now we got three to go, and who knows what will happen next. All I can say race fans is brace yourself. You're gonna be in for a treat."
