This weeks the AARO Advance Auto Parts Modified Tour swept through Delaware at the Dover International Raceway. The AAA Pole Award went to Ken Bryant in the #15 3M car.

Bryant leads the field to green:

In the first 20 laps of the 80-lapper, nobody could pass Bryant for the lead.

The field coming off turn two:

Caution 1, Lap 15

Travis Johnson stalled the car on the backstretch.

After the first caution, cars became more loose as the tires started to wear off on Dover's concrete.

Finally, Paul Lovington Jr made the overtake on Bryant shortly after the restart:

Caution 2, Lap 29

Tyrone Kestner spun Michael Craig into the inside wall. Also involved were: Erik Laycross, both Noah Krongozs, and Gerald Fontaine.

In the final 50 laps of the race, the lead cycled between Norts, McCoy, McBeel, Spurling, Raycroft, Dalton, Knight, Lovington, and Bryant.

Not a lot happened the rest of the way, but Noah Krongoz Sr did hold up the inside lane with about 20 to go, but they caught back up in half a lap.

With two to go, Treyson McBeel, running second, tried to make a move on race leader Adam Spurling, but found himself hung out to dry after the failed attempt.

That allowed Spurling to get a good jump on the rest of the pack, and Adam Spurling would win at Dover!

Bad race for the father-son duo. Krongoz Sr. third in points, Jr., still in the lead.

Webler not happy with Kestner
Eric Webler is frustrated with Tyrone Kestner. "Too many bad finishes" Webler said when Kestner crashed. Tyrone is a great road racer so that might be why but he shouldn't be that bad. Webler said he would let him finish the season but his points finish will depend if he is running in 2011.

7th place finish bumps McBeel to 15th in points

"Dang. That had to have sucked balls. I had a chance to nail it, but something went awry with the car near the end. But, hey. I managed to finish in the top ten so we're getting better at it."

McClure Bags another top 10 finish
Byron McClure finished 10th in this weekends race. McClure battled through the pack but couldn't crack any lead laps. "I'm got 10th and I'm pretty happy, at least I didn't fail, said McClure." McClure is currently 11th in the championship.

Emma Dalton with another 6th place finish

"Thats our 3rd top 10 and they have all been 6th place finishs i belive... Its kinda frustrating that we can finish 6th but not 5th or 4th or 3rd..... Well it could be worse, we could wreck every week."
